About Melody

A translator with a vast experience and a strong academic credential.

As a native Indonesian speaker and a fluent English speaker, I can provide a translation that Indonesian audience feel natural reading it. My experience comprises 6 years in translation and 4 years in editing, copywriting and blogging.

Since 2009, I have translated 34 published books and a wide range of documents. They equal to not less than 4.000 hours of translation work. I have a B.A. (Sarjana) in Indonesian language and literature. I’ve completed at least (in total) 40 classes on linguistics, literature, and translation. Therefore, I have a deep understanding of how language works.
